Our Story

We are Travis and Erica Shakespear, the founders of Gifts From Grady. We grew up and live in Southern Utah. Throughout our marriage we have faced hardships, joy, tender mercies, love, laughter, and a little heartache. We have a big blended family that keeps us on our toes. Our family enjoys being outdoors. We go on many adventures making a lot of cherished memories.

We lost our son Grady in December 2020. Grady became a pediatric organ donor and the tender age of 9 months old. Soon after his death we started a fundraiser to educate others about organ donation and support donor families. Our fundraiser turned into a foundation and is now a non profit charitable organization. We could not save our son, as awful as that is there is peace and healing in giving the chance of life to other children. We advocate for all organ donations but, emphasize on pediatric donation.

If you are ever faced with a tragic event like ours, we pray through your heartache and pain you can see the beauty organ donation. There are many wonderful children on the transplant waiting list and it grows longer everyday.

As always we love and appreciate you all. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
