*ALL PARTICPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED. Pre‐registration is encouraged and can be completed at
giftsfromgrady.com by 8:00 a.m. April 22, 2023. All registered participants will get a free poker card with
a suggested $30 donation. Extra poker cards are available for purchase at $5 each.
Poker Run starts at 9:00a.m. and ends at 2:00p.m. Ride will begin at Forest Road 132 to Powell Point
signed Pine Lake Campground, located off Johns Valley Rd (county road 1660). Parking vehicles and
trailers will be available about 1 mile in signs will be posted. There is an outhouse available for use at the
Pine Lake Campground. ALL PARTICPIANTS WILL NEED TO SIGN THE LIABILITY WAVIER BEFORE THE RIDE
STARTS
All prize Winners will be announced at 4:00p.m at Tropic Town Park. There are three grand prizes
winner, and several raffle prize winners. Must be present to win.
HOW THIS ALL WORKS: 1. Each registered participant gets a free poker card. A-Each participant will be
able to buy as many cards as they would like. B- poker cards will be given at the beginning of the ride
with one punch, name, and a number provided on the card. C- For the run itself, a hole will be punched
at each stop. The last punch will be given at the Tropic Town Park before the winners are announced. D-
Poker Run is open to ATV’s, UTV’s, Dirt Bikes and Jeeps.
2. Riders will be broken up into 2 groups (depending on participates size).
3. Maps will be provided by leaders of each group upon request by participants. Four stops will be
pinned on the map with the fifth and last stop being Tropic Town Park. Each stop participants will pick a
poker chip out of the bag held by the leader of the ride. Participants must hand leader the poker card(s)
before picking a chip out of the bag, otherwise no punch will be given. This insures no CHEATING.
5. Scoring will be done at the park by event staff at the end of the ride. Player must have all five punches
to have a valid hand. Staff members will record the card(s) with names and card number. A copy of the
player’s scorecard will be made and handed to the player. The original scorecard will be left with the
staff at last location. Event staff will review all scorecards to determine the winner. In the event of a tie,
a drawing of cards will be the deciding factor, highest card claiming the win. a. Ace will be considered
as a high card.
SAFETY AND SPORTSMANSHIP: Gifts From Grady ATV Charity Poker Run is a family oriented
environment. The safety and well‐ being of our visitors and guests is our top priority. To ensure that our
event is a success and fun is had by all, please adhere to the following event guidelines: 1. DO carry a cell
phone with you to call for help if an emergency occurs. If needed, call Garfield County Dispatch Office
435-676-2678 or 911. 2. DO be respectful to your fellow riders. Keep in mind that different levels of
riding experience will be on the trail. 3. Be respectful. 4. DO carry a trash bag and secure it in your
machine, no garbage disposals are available. Bring all trash back and dispose of it after the event. 5. DO
bring a simple first-aid kit with your ATV. 6. DO bring water, snacks and or lunch as it will NOT be
provided. Anyone caught punching holes in their own cards, will be disqualified. 6. DO allow enough
time to get back to the Town Park before the 4:00p.m. cut off time. 7. DO stay safe and have a great
time!

Directions From Tropic Utah: Travel west on UT-HWY 12 to Bryce Canyon/Antimony round about. At
round- about take 1 st right exit headed north towards Antimony. This is county road 1660 locally known
as Johns Valley Road. 10.7 miles down Johns Valley Road turn right on Forest Road 132 signed Pine Lake
Campground, continue on FR 132 for about 1 mile in for parking, if parking is full at this destination
more parking will available 5 miles in. Signs will be posted for references.
